“From Sea to Shining Sea”

O beautiful, for spacious skies,

For amber waves of grain;

May America always remember her greatness

Comes when we call upon God’s Name.

Yes, remind us of Your Care, O Lord,

And how our greatness comes from You:

For it’s not our money or military might

That will keep us free in all we do.

No, it’s not our possessions, power and fame

That’ll keep us from all fear;

It’s only when we look to You in Faith

And know that You are near.

You’ve blessed us beyond all measure—

Through struggles great and small;

But, we have no hope apart from You:

The One on Whose Name we should call.

From our earliest beginnings in pioneer days

Until today we see:

That it’s been Your Hand that has guided us

As we cried out to You on bended knee.

You guided the early pilgrims when they set sail

To start life all over again:

And the only hope we have in America today

Is when we’re held secure in Your loving Hand.

Remind us, O LORD, of our righteous roots

So in You we can truly be free;

Otherwise our land and freedoms will soon be lost

Because we failed to place our trust in Thee.

Help us, O God, Creator of the heavens and earth:

The One on Whose Name we humbly call.

Help us to humble our hearts and pray

As before You on our knees we do fall.

Yes, help us, O LORD, to come back to You

In the days that lie ahead:

For our only hope is found in trusting in You

And all that You have done and said.

Create in us a clean heart, O God,

And renew a right spirit within:

For only You can save us from ourselves

And a nation that’s filled with evil and sin.

Thank You, Father, for loving us so

And blessing our nation beyond compare;

May we trust in You as never before:

For that’s the only way we’ll know that You are there.
