Editor’s note: The Dragonettes had a great season, especially when you consider some of the struggles early on, with coaching staff changes. Prior to going to state, they had won 13 straight games. By going to state they made history. The first Dragonette Softball team to ever go to state. Being state runner up is nothing to be sad about.  Rather it is something to be very proud of. These girls fought all season ending the season with a 16-6 record. That is something to hold their heads up high for. Congratulations to the Dragonettes and we can’t wait to see what you do next year!
