Kaden Pippinger didn't allow a single run as  defeated Drew Central Varsity Pirates 2-0 on Friday at TBD. Pippinger allowed just one hit.
Both teams were strong on the bump. DeWitt Varsity Dragons pitchers struck out 14, while Drew Central Varsity Pirates sat down seven.
DeWitt Varsity Dragons were the first to get on the board in the second when Rae Fry doubled, scoring one run.

Kaden Pippinger drove in four runs on three hits to lead DeWitt Varsity Dragons past Rison Varsity Wildcats 10-2 on Monday at TBD. Pippinger singled in the fourth inning, scoring two runs, and hit a home run to left field in the sixth inning, scoring two.
DeWitt Varsity Dragons got on the board in the first inning after Marshaun Bowers doubled, scoring one run.
DeWitt Varsity Dragons added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when a steal of home scored one run, and an error scored two runs.
Four more DeWitt Varsity Dragons runs crossed the plate in the sixth inning to extend the lead to 10-2. Mak Guthrie doubled, scoring one run, Pippinger homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Jax Poston doubled, scoring one run.
Colton Rhodes earned the win for DeWitt Varsity Dragons. The hurler gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking none. M Weaver took the loss for Rison Varsity Wildcats. The starter went two innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out four and walking one. Poston, Rae Fry, Rodney Ross, and Gunnar Grisham each threw shutout innings for DeWitt Varsity Dragons in relief.
DeWitt Varsity Dragons tallied nine hits in the game. Terrell Dale stole two bases. DeWitt Varsity Dragons stole five bases in the game.
