2026 Summer Reading Program: Unearth a Story
The Stuttgart Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Program kicks off May 29th and will run through June 24th with a variety of fun activities for all ages. This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story”, focusing on dinosaurs.
The summer program is absolutely free and there is no need to register. Everyone is welcome.
“We are so excited to announce our 2026 Summer Reading Program taking place May 29th through June 24th. This year’s theme is “Unearth a Story”, focusing on dinosaurs!
We will have special guest readers and a variety of fun activities for all ages including: indoor and outdoor games, songs, crafts, and kid-friendly movies with free popcorn and drinks. Our summer program will kick off with a free magic show on May 29th featuring magician Scott Davis.
Our summer program is absolutely free and there is no need to register. Bring your family, friends and neighbors. Everyone is welcome. We can’t wait to see you here!” said Library Manager Estella Dudman.
The summer program will kick off on Friday, May 29th at 10:30 AM with a free magic show featuring magician Scott Davis.
Other activities include:
· MONDAYS at 10:30 AM – GAME DAY: Indoor and outdoor games with fun prizes.
· WEDNESDAYS at 10:30 AM – FAMILY STORYTIME & CRAFTS: Bring the whole family to enjoy stories, songs, and crafts.
· FRIDAYS at 1:00 PM – MOVIE DAY: Join us for a kid-friendly movie with free popcorn and drinks.
The summer program is not just for kids. Adults can check out the BOOKMARKS BOOK CLUB. The book club meets at the library every Monday at 12:00 pm.
